MeinTein plumbers have invested in technology applicable to root cause analysis thereby saving significant hours in repair times. In detecting leakages on any surfaces vertical or horizontal, we make use of Amprobe products range from an extensive line of clamp meters and digital multimeters resulting in ultrasonic leak detection.

MeinTein plumbers will attend to any burst pipe situation. Our technicians will locate the leak, assess the problem and use the correct methods of repair.
A significant number of Litres of precious water is lost due to leaking pipes.
The most common causes of leaking pipes are due to:
- High water pressure.
- Old pipes.
- Corrosion.
- Inferior or low-quality material used at the initial lining.
- Sub-zero climate conditions.
How do you know if you have a leaking water pipe?
- An irregularly high- water bill.
- Hearing the sound of water running even though all the taps are closed securely.
- Damp walls.
- Standing water puddles on surfaces be it paving & grass.
Pipe Location
The use of the latest technology enables the team to locate steel, galvanized, and copper water pipes underground, be it under Paving, Concrete or Asphalt. We can also mark out where Sewer and Stormwater lines run and the depth of the pipes prior to digging up.
Plumbing Maintenance
Meintein Plumbing Services will attend to all types of plumbing repair – big or small including project works.

All jobs are assessed beforehand and wherever possible a quotation is given.
Our service vehicles are stocked with the common everyday plumbing fittings, valves and pipes that may be required for general plumbing repairs including all necessary tools and machinery used in plumbing repairs.
By having a large float on the vehicle, it saves time and money and repairs can be executed effectively and efficiently.
We have a network of plumbing suppliers where we source material in the event that fittings required on a particular repair are not in stock on our vehicles.
In instances where a plumbing repair is out of the ordinary or more involved than the usual repair our quality control personnel are brought in to assess and manage the job with the plumber and his assistants.
Geyser Services
A leaking geyser in a ceiling from a small drip to a major leak can be inconvenient and cause substantial damage to ceilings, carpets and appliances
Learn More
An incorrect geyser installation can be detrimental and very dangerous and if the installation is incorrect there could be a potential “Bomb” in your roof.
It is therefore imperative that professional plumbing technicians install a geyser complete with the necessary Pressure Reducing Valves, the relevant Safety Valves, and a Geyser Tray with an External Overflow Pipe.
MeinTein Plumbing Services will supply and install any size geyser whether it’s a 50L,100L,150L,200L, or 250L Geyser. We will recommend and replace the appropriate size geyser to suit your hot water requirements. All geysers can be installed either horizontally or vertically. Where applicable, geyser housing can be erected ensuring the safety of the hardware from climate conditions and human contact.
Drain and Pipeline Cleaning
Blocked and dirty drains can lead to a number of serious pipeline problems including, reduced water flow, odors, and leakages to name a few.
Learn More
A sewer jetter is a long, flexible, high-pressure hose with a high-pressure jet nozzle on one end. The nozzle typically has a front-firing jet to break apart clogs, and back-firing jets that propel the jetter hose forward into dirty drains and scrub the sides of the pipes.
MeinTein plumbers make use of a Micro-cutter, a specially designed tool used for cleaning and descaling pipes with heavy scale build-up. We have a number of unique cleaning heads designed for different applications which are fitted to the Micro Cutters drive shaft cable and pushed down the pipe while the drive shaft cable spins the cleaning head at a very high RPM allowing technicians to literally grind scale build-up away and return the pipe to its full original diameter prior to relining the pipe.
Sub-Surface Drainage
Do you experience constant damp or wet patches in your garden?
Learn More
Does water constantly seep out of the paving or tar in the driveway?
To ensure that your home and garden, office block, warehouse, or factory is safe from the risk of water damage, you will need to have a form of underground drainage installed. An effective and unobtrusive method that we use is sub-surface drainage.
A combination of various systems is used – in particular Bidum Cloth, Concrete Stone, and a Geo-Pipe.
A sub-surface drainage system is designed to be installed underground in order to remove excess water from the soil so that it doesn’t cause damage to buildings or landscaped areas.
Because the drains are buried beneath the soil, they should be designed and installed during the landscaping or building stage if possible in order to get the best results.
Drains can always be installed to existing homes, offices, and factories if this type of water problem arises unexpectedly.
If you think that you need subsoil drainage in your property, Meintein Plumbers will assess and design a system suitable for the problematic area.
